The short version. Fairway Ledger keeps your golf rounds, bets and running tabs on your phone. We don't have a server, we don't have accounts, and we never receive your data. We can't see your scores or who owes whom, because none of it reaches us.
Fairway Ledger is published by NDNS Solutions ("we", "us").
Nothing. We operate no servers and no accounts. We collect no personal information, no usage analytics, no crash reports, no advertising identifiers and no location data. There is no tracking of any kind, and nothing is shared with or sold to third parties.
Everything you enter is written to your device's local app storage and stays there:
This data never leaves your device unless you copy it there yourself — for example through your own device backup, which is governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policy, not ours.
Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else, and no way for us to recover it.
The app can import a golf course from GolfCourseAPI
(api.golfcourseapi.com) so you don't have to type in 18 holes by
hand. This is off by default and only works if you obtain your
own free API key and enter it in Settings.
When — and only when — you use it:
No scores, bets, player names or money figures are ever sent. GolfCourseAPI is an independent service with its own privacy policy and terms, which apply to those searches. If you never enter a key, the app makes no network requests at all.
Fairway Ledger is a scorekeeping and tally app. It records who won which bet and what the running total is between two players, the same way a note on a scorecard would. No payments are processed, held or transferred through the app. We have no access to any payment method, and settling up happens between you and your playing partner, however you choose to do it.
Fairway Ledger is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, of any age.
Data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. Because we hold none, there is nothing for us to produce or erase — the data is on your device and entirely under your control. Deleting the app deletes it.
