About
Find the struggle.
Ship the fix.
NDNS builds software and systems for the work people repeat every day. The same method runs through all of it, whether the day is spent on a production floor or on a golf course.
The idea
The best problems are the quiet ones
Every operation has a step that nobody solved. Someone built a workaround years ago, it half worked, and the team stopped noticing it. A spreadsheet gets rebuilt each morning. A meeting spends its first twenty minutes assembling the status it was called to discuss. A score gets settled from memory.
Those are not small problems. They are the ones that cost an hour a day and never make it onto a project list, because no one is angry about them any more.
NDNS looks for exactly those, and replaces them with one tool that does the job properly. No sprawl — the smallest thing that removes the friction and survives contact with a real shift.
That is the whole company: find the struggle, ship the fix, then go back and fix what the first version got wrong.
Method
Three steps, every time
Find
Watch the work as it is actually done, not as the procedure describes it. Sit in the meeting. Read the spreadsheet everyone maintains by hand. The workaround shows you where the tool should go.
Build
One tool, one job, built properly. No accounts nobody needs, no data held without a reason, nothing added to pad a feature list. It has to be faster than the workaround or it will not get used.
Ship
Put it where the work happens — on the floor, on the course, in a pocket. Then watch it in use. The first version is a hypothesis; the second one is the product.
Experience
Built from the floor, not the whiteboard
The experience behind NDNS is over a decade in corporate manufacturing — operations, maintenance and engineering — in regulated, GMP pharmaceutical environments. The daily huddle, the equipment that goes down mid-campaign, the quality record that has to be right the first time: these are not case studies here, they are the day job.
That is where the method came from. Every tool NDNS builds started as something that was genuinely annoying to live with.
The sport work comes from the same place: a background in exercise science, baseball and golf. It runs on the same instinct as the plant tools — build the routine people will actually keep to, and put it where they already are.
If your plant has one of those quiet problems, that experience is available directly as well as in the products.
